 Grand Prize winner: Saumil Majmudar, CEO, EduSports
Saumil Majmudar is the Co-Founder and CEO of EduSports, India?s first and leading Physical Education (PE) and school sports enterprise. EduSports uses structured physical activity and sports as a pedagogical tool for developing mental and behavioural skills and physical conditioning in children. EduSports? PE and sports management platform, SOARTM, is specifically designed for K-12 schools by leading sports personalities, psychologists and educationists.
Creating ?Champions for Life? through EduSports, Saumil emerged a champion among champions at Pioneering Spirit ? A product of Lufthansa. As the Grand Prize winner of Season 2, Saumil is headed this July to the Ignite programme at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence at Judge Business School, Cambridge. ?It?s been a thrilling experience. Winning has truly given me an opportunity to take my business to the next level,? says Saumil.
An avid sports lover, Saumil was in the Maharashtra Badminton team & in the IIT Bombay Football team. A product of IIT-Bombay and IIM-Bangalore, Saumil also holds a basic mountaineering degree from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi.
